About Clare College

Clare College was founded in 1326 and was the first of the Oxford and Cambridge foundations to provide for a Master, Fellows and Scholars in a single community. It remains today a society of teachers and students brought together by a common interest in learning, teaching and research.

Clare College is committed to inclusion and accessibility and is working in collaboration with AccessAble to provide information on accessibility. The College is spread over several sites, with Old Court (Grade I listed) at the heart of the College, student accommodation and teaching / office space in Memorial Court (Grade II* listed), and additional undergraduate accommodation on Chesterton Lane.
