Introduction

  • This route is from bus stops M and N on the south side of Broad Street (for buses from the city centre) and bus stop X on the north side of Broad Street (for buses from Pendlebury), to the Allerton Building side entrance.

Past the Crossing

  • After the crossing, take the path to the left and then to the right.
  • These paths have a tarmac then a block paving surface, with moderate slopes.
  • At the top of the slopes there are bollards, 152cm wide, leading into the Allerton Building Side Courtyard.

Bus Stop X

Bus Stop X to the Allerton Building Side Courtyard

  • On alighting from a bus, turn left past the shelter then right to the bollards which are 162cm wide.
  • Beyond the bollards the path has a block paving surface which is uneven with easy slops.
  • This leads to further bollards, 156cm wide, beyond which the slope becomes moderate leading up to the courtyard.
  • At the top of this slope there are more bollards, 152cm wide, leading into the courtyard.

Allerton Building Side Courtyard

  • The courtyard has a brick block paving surface, with easy slopes throughout, including in front of the side entrance.
