Welcome to Waltham Forest. One of Waltham Forest Council’s main priorities is to help everybody achieve a good quality of life, and our partnership with DisabledGo helps to highlight improved access across the borough for those with disabilities, older people and families with young children.
By providing information on the accessibility of over 700 shops, restaurants, public facilities and local attractions, such as the William Morris Gallery, both residents and visitors can make informed decisions about making the most of Waltham Forest.
Since our contribution to hosting the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, we have continued to improve access to our leisure facilities including completing the refurbishment and re-opening of four local leisure centres, and of course the brand new Waltham Forest Feel Good Centre.
We will continue to strive to meet the needs of our residents and those who visit our borough. We hope you find this guide useful and that it helps you to access all Waltham Forest has to enjoy.
