Bristol is one of the most popular and successful universities in the UK and was ranked within the top 40 universities in the world in the QS World University rankings 2015. In the 2014 Research Excellence Framework, which evaluates universities' research, Bristol was once again confirmed as a world leader, with 83 per cent of our research rated as 'world-leading' or 'internationally excellent'. We are committed to creating and sustaining a world-class teaching and learning experience for our students and a positive and supportive environment for our staff. As a major employer and a provider of education, we value the diversity of our students and staff.

The University of Bristol has one of the largest estates in the UK HE sector (in the top 15 by size). Over 21 per cent of our buildings are listed, and over 90 per cent are located within designated conservation areas. University buildings include some of the city's most iconic: for example the Wills Memorial Building, Goldney House and Gardens, the Victoria Rooms and Royal Fort House.

We strive to achieve and improve accessibility in our buildings, working with the historic fabric of each space and with local planning policy, and we are delighted to be working with DisabledGo to provide our students, staff and visitors with useful and up-to-date information about the accessibility of our buildings and grounds.

Please follow our Twitter page for more information on the upcoming launch, more details will be released shortly - Go to DisabledGo Twitter click here
