University of Bath
The University of Bath is an internationally renowned, research-intensive institution located on a single campus overlooking the City of Bath. We are committed to equality of opportunity in both education and employment and have recently undertaken a major programme of works to develop access for disabled people.
Founded in 1966 the University occupies a compact, purpose-built campus that enables the majority of facilities to be easily accessed from a central parade. Recent investment has resulted in all major buildings having wheelchair access via ramps and lifts, and being equipped with wheelchair accessible toilets. Some student accommodation blocks offer ground floor rooms specifically designed for wheelchair users.
We are now pleased to be working with DisabledGo on the development of detailed information about the accessibility of our facilities. We hope this guide is useful, but if you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact us using the details listed below.
We look forward to welcoming you to the University.
