Great Yarmouth College
For nearly 60 years Great Yarmouth College has delivered high quality vocational education to the local area and beyond. As we grow and develop our programmes, our commitment to learners remains the same :
“To equip people with the aspiration, skills and competences necessary for employability, enterprise and an increased contribution to a dynamic society.”
The College has a mixed community of more than 6500 learners on full and part-time courses at both FE and HE level. These take place at our main campus on Suffolk Road and a specialist construction centre opposite the main campus. Recent developments have seen the building of a brand new theatre, performing arts studios, music rooms and ceramics studio as well as new classrooms and specialist IT classrooms. Further developments are planned and some spaces are under redevelopment.
At the heart of Great Yarmouth College is a supportive culture which recognises and champions individual need. For this reason we think it is important that all our services and facilities are accessible to all. We have a number of support services available for learners. Our learning development team provide expert help for learners who are deaf or have partial hearing, physical or mental health difficulties. One-to-one learning support is also available for those needing extra support.
