Bromley College of Further and Higher Education is a vocational college located in South East London. Our Rookery Lane Campus is located just south of Bromley town centre on the A21.



We specialise in vocational courses across a wide variety of subject areas from Accounting & Book-keeping, Animal Care and Beauty Therapy to Business Studies, Engineering, Motor Vehicle and Sport. Our courses offer real opportunity for learning skills and qualifications for working life, as well as providing a flexible springboard to higher education.



Around 7,000 people study at the College, including 2,500 full-time students. Our huge range of courses means that we have something for everyone, whether you’re aged 16-18 and leaving school, an adult aged 19+, thinking about a degree or you want to further your professional qualifications. We also have a dedicated team of experts offering specialised training to businesses.



We’re proud to offer a range of courses for students with learning difficulties or disabilities. Our eight ‘Learning for Living and Work’ courses have been specifically designed to meet the needs of students with learning difficulties or disabilities. The aims of the courses vary from helping people to develop independent living skills, to introduce a variety of vocational skills or to prepare students for the workplace.



We have an inclusive learning environment are proud of our College’s community spirit. Students are encouraged to get involved in a wide range of social and sports events. There is a wealth of support available for students, from financial help through to life-coaching.



The College has recently undergone a £24m redevelopment and our campus now proudly boasts some fantastic state of the art facilities including a new technology centre with a range of construction and motor vehicle workshops, re-furbished hair and beauty salons, new learning resource centre, café and classrooms.

Bromley is a great place to live, work and study - it is mainly residential, with vast areas of woodland and parks. The town centre includes the Pavilion Leisure Centre, the Glades Shopping Centre, the Churchill Theatre and an excellent library complex. Bromley College is a ten-minute bus ride from the town centre. The College is convenient for central London (16 minutes by train), Kent and the south coast. The journey time to both Gatwick and Heathrow airports is about one hour.
