Getting Help and Assistance

    There is a drop off / pick up zone on the left as you approach the terminal with a Blue Badge drop off / pick up space outside the main entrance.
    There are 6 disabled parking spaces within the smaller car park on the left as you approach the terminal.

Disembarking the Aircraft

  • The accessibility of the aircraft varies according to the individual aircraft, provider or airport. Please contact the airline prior to booking for more information.
  • Disembarking the aircraft may be by airstair and steps, mobile ramp (Aviramp) or Ambulift, depending upon individual needs, aircraft type, or wind and weather conditions.
  • Wheelchair users and those with mobility problems may transfer to a stair climber or aisle chair (type may vary) as required for assisted egress from the aircraft.
  • The route to the arrivals gate from the aircraft across the apron has a very slight incline with concrete paving.

      Blue Badge holders are exempt from parking charges when using the car park to travel off the Island.
      Blue Badge holders should present their badge to security in the main terminal building. Security will note down the holders name, vehicle registration number, and expiry date and will retain these details on a Blue Badge register. If your blue badge is registered, then this facilitates you being able to take it with you to use in a vehicle on the mainland.
