Getting Here

  • By Road View
    • Southampton is easily accessible by car.
      If you are using a GPS or route finder system to get to Westquay Shopping Centre, enter "Harbour Parade" as the destination road.
      The Multi-storey and Podium car parks are both accessed from this road.
      From the East or West, approach Southampton on the M27.
      At junction 3 join the M271 signposted Southampton.
      At the roundabout take the first exit left, signposted Westquay and the Waterfront.
      Stay in the right hand lane and follow signs to Westquay Car Parks.
      From the North, follow the signs on the M3 to Westquay.
    • There are two car parks available at Westquay Shopping Centre; the Podium Car Park and the Multi-storey Car Park.
  • By Bus View
    • There is a bus stop within 150 metres of the shopping centre.
    • Bluestar run buses across Southampton and South Hampshire.
      Services are frequent and most run late into the night.
      Dayrider and Freedom passes are available from the driver for unlimited travel across the whole network.
      Bluestar run a service from the train station to Westquay and then down to the Red Funnel Terminal. This service costs £1 per trip and runs every half an hour.

  • There is not a member of staff trained in British Sign Language. Please phone the venue in advance for more information
  • British Sign Language interpreters cannot be provided on request.
  • The alternative formats documents can be provided in include; large print on request.
  • Alternative formats of the shopping centre map are available in large print.
  • There is not an assistance dog toilet or toileting area at the venue/nearby.
  • There is not a designated place of safety which can be used by people with dementia, autism or learning disabilities.
  • The venue offers a quiet shopping experience.
  • The shopping centres quiet hour takes place every Monday, 09:00-10:00.
  • Water bowls for assistance dogs are available.
  • There are mobility aids available.

  • Access Point View

    • The bollards do not have an identification band to aid visually impaired people.
  • Comments View
    • There are steps after the bollards which provide access down to the Esplanade/Terrace.
    • These steps are not used to access the shopping centre.

External Area(s) (Esplanade and Terrace)

Toilet Facilities

  • Parent and baby changing facilities are located on Level 1 of the Podium Car Park and Westquay Shopping Centre North - Levels 4 and 3.
  • There is a Changing Places facility located on Level 1 of the Podium Car Park.
