Access Guide

  • Services include: Basement - lecture theatres 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7.

  • Ground Floor - Pilot Plant, Lecture Theatre 1, Work Room 1, Work Room 2, 2 group study rooms, delivery store, delivery room, library connect and the Diamond Kitchen Cafe.

  • First Floor - Aerospace Propulsion Lab, Aerospace Simulation Lab, clean room, Analytics, Pilot Plant Control Room, male and female prayer rooms, Structures and Dynamics lab, project space, machine shop and Lecture Theatre 8.

  • Follow the directions detailed on the University website Maps and Travel page (see below). At University Square, turn left into Broad Lane, then turn into Mappin Street, which is the second turning on the right. After approximately 100 metres, turn right into Pitt Street, then turn right at the end into Regent Street. This becomes St Georges Terrace, and the building is on the left on this street.

  • Blue Badge parking is available here. There are also University-owned public car parks on Durham Road and Solly Street.

  • Bus routes 10 and 95 stop outside this building on Broad Lane.

  • Sheffield is at the heart of the UK railway network, so is easily accessed from most of the country. The station is located on the opposite side of the City Centre from the University, but there is a direct link via the Supertram.

  • The nearest Supertram stop to this building is University of Sheffield, which is served by both the Blue and Yellow Routes.
