Access Guide

  • Services / facilities within the building include Archive Services, Transport, and Hunterian Museum Offices.

  • Please contact Archive Services in advance, if you need any additional support during a visit.

  • Archive Services main public Search Room is located on the second floor of the Thurso Street building – this is not accessible to wheelchair users.

  • Archive Services’ ground level Search Room is located at 77-87 Dumbarton Road. Archives can be viewed there with 24 hour notice. Please see description of Dumbarton Road facility below. Standard and accessible toilets are available at Dumbarton Road. Staff will meet visitors on arrival.
