Access Guide

  • Services / facilities within the building include student accommodation and common room.

  • From the city centre follow the signs to Clifton (A4018). Pass the Wills Building University Tower and follow the road around The Triangle in the right hand lane on the downward section and the left hand lane on the upward section. Continue up Queens Road, passing the Victoria Rooms on the right. At the double mini-island go straight ahead passing the University Richmond Building on the left. Take the second turning to the left, Richmond Lane, which joins Richmond Terrace at the right angle bend. The entrance to the Richmond Terrace accommodation is on the right, 20m from the corner.

  • The only parking in the area is on-street controlled Residents Parking Zones. There is a Park and Ride service at Long Ashton 5km away and the bus service (505) serves Queens Road opposite the Richmond Building. From the Richmond Building entrance turn left, cross Gordon Road and take the second turning left, Richmond Lane, which leads into Richmond Terrace with the accommodation on the right. Total distance from the bus stop is approximately 250m.

  • The No. 8 bus takes a circular route from the main railway station (Temple Meads) up through Clifton and returning via the main shopping centre. The No. 8 bus runs a circular route from the main railway station (Temple Meads) to Clifton and returns via the main shopping centre (Broadmead). Bus 505 is the Park and Ride service from Long Ashton via Clifton to Southmead Hospital. The buses stop outside the Richmond Building. From the Richmond Building entrance turn left, cross Gordon Road and take the second turning left, Richmond Lane, which leads into Richmond Terrace with the accommodation on the right. Total distance from the bus stop is approximately 250m.

  • The nearest mainline station is Clifton Down, approximately 1.5km away. There is no direct public transport to Richmond Terrace from Clifton Down. The major city railway station, Bristol Temple Meads, is 4km away but is served by the No. 8 bus to the Richmond Building.

  • The building does not have its own dedicated parking.

  • There is not a site/campus car park within approximately 200m.
