  • There is not a member of staff trained in British Sign Language. Please phone the venue in advance for more information
  • There is not an assistance dog toilet or toileting area at the venue/nearby.
  • There is a designated place of safety which can be used by people with dementia, autism or learning disabilities.
  • Off the toilet area near the Level 0 car park entrance, between Marks & Spencer and Claire's.
  • The venue does not offer a quiet shopping experience.
  • Water bowls for assistance dogs are available.
  • There are mobility aids available.
  • The mobility aids available include mobility scooters, mobile hoists, wheelchairs and motorised wheelchairs.

Bus Station and Taxi Rank

  • The bus station is located to the right as you face the Silverburn Shopping Centre.
  • There are 8 stands within the bus station, each with step free access and a shelter.
  • There are pedestrian crossings to access some of the stands.
  • Dropped kerbs with tactile paving are located at either side of the crossing points.
  • The taxi rank is located to the left as you face the Silverburn Shopping Centre.
  • There is step free access to the taxi rank.
  • There are bollards leading from the taxi rank to the shopping centre.
  • The width between the bollards is 120cm.
  • There are further taxi ranks at the opposite side of the shopping centre near Tesco, and at the opposite end near Marks and Spencer.

  • There is step free access from the Bus Station and Taxi Rank to Silverburn Shopping Centre.
  • There is a sheltered route to the shopping centre from the bus station.
  • The direct route from the taxi rank is unsheltered although the bus station is nearby.
  • The surface of the path leading to the shopping centre is block paving.
  • There are bollards located along the path.
  • The width between the bollards is 120cm.
  • There is a very easy slope on the path leading up to the entrance to the Winter Garden.
