Getting Help and Assistance

  • There is a member of staff available for help and assistance.
  • There is not an assistance dog toilet or toileting area at the venue/nearby.
  • Water bowls for assistance dogs are available.
  • There are mobility aids available.
  • The mobility aids available include wheelchairs.
  • To obtain mobility aids please contact from the information desk in the main concourse or by contacting any of the PRM (Special Assistance) staff.
  • Passengers requiring assistance will be taken to aircraft using lifts to access the apron, buses to access the far gates, and stair climbers to access the aircraft. Passengers requiring assisted access are collected from the Priority Seating in the Departures Lounge by PRM staff. There are also wheelchairs available to help PRM staff assist passengers.

Access from Tarmac to Arrivals Corridor

  • There are single width automatic doors leading from the Tarmac to the Arrivals Corridor.
  • There is stepped access.
  • This can be overcome by using the entrance directly into the Domestic Baggage Reclaim, a member of the PRM Staff will provide assistance.

Inside Access

  • The corridor leading from Gates 21-24 leads to a staircase, up to a bridge over a service road to baggage reclaim.
  • Assisted passengers are taken through a door just past the stairs, and accompanied across the service road.
  • This route can only be used by assisted passengers.
  • There are some stool type seats without armrests along this corridor.

Accessible Toilet(s) (Arrivals Corridor)

  • There is an/are accessible toilet(s) for public use.
  • Location and Access View
    • This accessible toilet is located at the rear of the Arrivals Corridor, next to Gate 24.
    • There is step-free access into the accessible toilet.
  • Features and Dimensions View
    • This is a shared toilet.
    • A key is required for the accessible toilet.
    • The key is a radar key.
    • The key can be obtained from a member of the PRM staff.
    • There is pictorial signage on or near the toilet door.
    • The door opens outwards.
    • The door is light.
    • The door is locked by a locking handle.
    • The width of the accessible toilet door is 87cm (2ft 10in).
    • The dimensions of the accessible toilet are 158cm x 223cm (5ft 2in x 7ft 4in).
