Route Information
- This route goes from Vazon Bay to Port Soif Bay and Nature Trail.
- The majority of the route is on surfaced paths.
- The route will take approximately 2 hours.
- This route is not a loop so you may need to retrace the route to return to the car parking at Vazon Bay.
- There is car parking at Vazon Bay and at Port Soif. These can be used as pickup and drop off points.
- Alternatively there are bus stops along Vazon Bay and at Port Soif Bay.
- There are a number of additional car parks located along the route, which can be used to make the walk more manageable for people with limited mobility.
- There are public toilets located along Vazon Bay, at Cobo Bay, and at Port Soif Bay. These may only be open during peak season.

Vazon Bay to Fort Hommet
- This section of the walk is approximately 620m.
- The walk begins at Vazon Bay.
- There is a car park located off Rue d'Albecq.
- The route from the car park has a pebble surface.
- The path has a short tarmac section.
- There is a steep slope leading onto the tarmac section.
- There is 1 medium height step leading off the tarmac section.
- The majority of the path has a compacted earth surface.
- The path is uneven in places.
- There is an additional small car park in Fort Hommet nature reserve.
- The parking overlooks Vazon Bay.
- The path beyond the small car park has 22 medium height steps, with no handrails, leading to Fort Hommet.
- There is a parking area at Fort Hommet.
- The parking area overlooks Vazon Bay and Fort Hommet.
- The route continues for approximately 210m from the Fort Hommet car park to Fort Hommet.
- The path is compacted earth.
- There are easy and moderate slopes along the route.
- There are cafes and restaurants along this section of the route.

Fort Hommet to Albecq Medieval Settlement
- This section of the walk is approximately 792m.
- The path is compacted earth.
- There are easy and moderate slopes along the path.
- The route passes around the Fort Hommet Nature Reserve and overlooks Albecq Bay.
- The path leads to Albecq Medieval Settlement.
Albecq Medieval Settlement to Lion Rock
- This section of the walk is approximately 615m.
- From Albecq Medieval Settlement follow the path around Albecq Bay.
- The path is compact earth.
- The path is uneven in places.
- There are easy slopes along the path.
- The route merges with the footpath on Rue d'Albecq.
- The surface of the footpath is tarmac.
- After approximately 50m Rue d'Albecq becomes La Neuve Rue.
- Continue along the footpath beside La Neuve Rue for approximately 340m.
- The route passes alongside Albecq Bay and passes Lion Rock.
Lion Rock to Côbo Bay
- This section of the walk is approximately 630m.
- There is car parking at the Côbo Bay end of this section.
- The route continues along the footpath next to La Neuve Rue.
- The footpath has a tarmac surface.
- After approximately 250m La Neuve Rue becomes Côbo Coast Road.
- Follow the footpath next to Côbo Coast Road.
- After approximately 100m the route bears left off the footpath following the sea wall.
- The path has a compact earth surface.
- The path is uneven in some places.
- The path leads into the Côbo Bay car park.
- The car park is split into two.
- There is a moderate slope leading between the two car parks.
- There is a toilet block located between the two car parks. This may only be open during the peak season.
- There is the Côbo Bay kiosk which sells hot and cold snacks (the kiosk is open from 10:00 - 15:00).
Côbo Bay to Chateau Grandes Rocques
- This section of the walk is approximately 192km.
- There is car parking available at Côbo Bay and Chateau Grandes Rocques ends of this section.
- From the Côbo Bay car park follow the footpath along Côbo Coast Road.
- The footpath has a tarmac surface.
- The path continues on the opposite side of the road.
- There is no designated crossing point.
- The route crosses Route de Côbo and continues along Côbo Coast Road.
- The route crosses Route de Carteret.
- There is a designated crossing point.
- At this point Côbo Coast Road becomes Rue de la Saline.
- There are additional car parks along Rue de la Saline.
- The car park adjacent to Route de Carteret has 2 Blue Badge bays.
- The footpath continues on the opposite side of the road.
- The route veers to the left of the footpath opposite Grandes Rocques Bistro.
- There are 9 medium height steps, with handrail on the right, to join the route from the footpath.
- The path is compact earth.
- The path is uneven in some places.
- There is another car park located along Rue de la Saline.
- The surface of the car park is loose chippings.
- The car park overlooks Saline Bay.
- The path resumes after the car park.
- The path becomes sandy and crosses the sand dunes of Saline Bay.
- There are easy and moderate slopes along the path.
- The path leads to Grandes Rocques Kiosk which sells hot and cold snacks (the kiosk is only open during peak season).
- There is a toilet block next to the kiosk (the public toilet is only open during peak season).
- There is another car park next to the kiosk and toilet block.
- The car park has a loose chipping surface.
- The parking overlooks Saline Bay and Le Port aux Malades.
- The route continues beyond the car park onto the headland.
- At the top of the headland is Grande Rocque Battery.
- The route loops around in front of Grande Rocque Battery and returns down the headland overlooking Le Port aux Malades.
- The path continues past Chateau Grandes Rocques to a small car park overlooking Little Island.
- There are hotels, cafes, restaurants and bars along this section of the route.

Chateau Grandes Rocques to Port Soif
- This section of the walk is approximately 625m.
- There is car parking at Little Island and Port Soif.
- The path is sandy in some places.
- The path is compact earth in some places.
- The path is uneven in some places.
- There are easy and moderate slopes along the path.
- The path runs around Port Soif Bay.
- The Port Soif Nature Reserve is on the opposite side of the road.
- The path leads into Port Soif car park.
- The car park is loose chippings.
- The Port Soif kiosk is located in the car park (the kiosk is only open during peak season).
- There is a toilet block in the car park (the toilet block is open all year).
