- This route is from the centre of the Advanced Manufacturing Park, just past ARMC1, to the nearest bus stop on Highfield Spring.
- From here it is possible to catch a bus 32 or A1 to Sheffield City Centre, and from there change for buses or the tram to the University main campus.
- The route is approximately 150 metres long.
Path between ARMC 1 and 2
- This path has a tarmac surface and is generally level but uneven in places.
- Take this path towards ARMC1.
- Cars can sometimes park up on this path, narrowing the width.
- Cones on the road may be used to prevent parking here.
Cross Wallis Way
- Just before the path meets the entrance to the car park for ARMC1, turn left and cross Wallis Way.
- There are dropped kerbs with tactile paving on both sides of the road.
- The road has a tarmac surface with a moderate slope down to the other side.
Far Side of Wallis Way
- After crossing, turn right and follow the path towards the roundabout.
- The path has a tarmac surface which is uneven in places.
- Just before the roundabout, the path splits to create a short stretch of separate foot and cycle paths. The footpath section is 141 cm wide.
- This split ends when the paths meet an area of tactile paving. Beyond this, there is a dropped kerb with tactile paving as the path passes another crossing for Wallis Way.
- Continue past the crossing to the roundabout.
Roundabout
- Past the crossing, there is another area of tactile paving. Beyond this, the path splits again to form a foot and cycle path.
- Follow this path around the side of the roundabout.
- When the path meets Highfield Spring, there is another area of tactile paving.
Cross Highfield Spring
- Beyond the tactile paving, there is a crossing. Use this to cross Highfield Spring.
- The crossing has dropped kerbs with tactile paving both sides and on the traffic island in the middle.
- The road has a tarmac surface with a moderate slope up then down.
Highfield Spring
- After the crossing, turn left onto an area of tactile paving. After this the path splits again into a foot and cycle path. The footpath is 135 cm wide, has a tarmac surface and an easy slope down.
- The path crosses an unused service road. There are dropped kerbs with tactile paving both sides. The road has a tarmac surface and is uneven.
- After the crossing, the path continues to be split into a foot and cycle path. Follow the footpath down the easy slope to the bus stop.
Bus Stop
- There is no shelter or seat at this bus stop.
- There is tactile paving leading to the bus entrance.
