About Glasgow City Council

Glasgow is a vibrant city that bursts with character, home to some of Scotland's best accessible attractions.

Scotland’s largest city, Glasgow is a lively, bustling place, with spectacular architecture and chock loads of character!  Glasgow has a wide range of accessible attractions to suit everyone, including excellent accessible hotels, and an array of museums and art galleries with disabled access; be sure to check out Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, which has Blue Badge parking. There’s first class leisure and shopping facilities – a trip to ‘the friendly city’ wouldn’t be complete without visiting Princes Square in the city centre and a quick check of the Access Guide shows there’s level access.

Fill your time exploring Glasgow’s accessible restaurants and pubs, treat the kids to tea and cake in one of Glasgow’s quaint cafes, see the Botanic Gardens or hop on a tour bus for some City Sightseeing (audio tours are available, just ask when you book). With so much to see and do for all ages, Glasgow is perfect for an accessible day out.
