Welcome to our District
The Bradford District has much to offer everyone – from the ambience of City Park with City Hall towering above the mirror pool and fountains to English Heritage listed Roberts Park close to the World Heritage site of Saltaire Village.
We want everyone to be able to enjoy what the district has to offer and to be able to confidently participate in it’s life. We are therefore proud to support the Bradford Pages of Disabled Go where there are over 1,600 entries giving detailed and accurate information about accessibility of businesses, leisure facilities, shopping outlets, parks and historic buildings.
Providing this on line access guide supports the Council in achieving its District Plan priorities as well as helping us meet our Equality objectives. The on line access guide enables all our residents, as well as visitors to our district, to get out, be active in our communities, and have better health and better lives as a result.
Many thanks to the disabled people in our district who are involved in updating and expanding this guide with Disabled Go.
If any disabled person or carer is interested in getting involved in improving life for disabled people in the Bradford District we have several active Partnerships. Please contact Sue Haddock or Darryl Smith for more information:
