The vision for Suffolk Community Healthcare is that it will be the best provider of quality services to communities, working in partnership to improve health and wellbeing. Our aim is to offer care closer to home throughout people’s lives, delivered by teams of dedicated professionals working together help people stay as well as possible.
We provide healthcare to a population of about 577,000 people, and offer a range of services to people of all ages. Children and Family Services deliver a wide range of universal and specialist health services, in partnership with other organisations, covering a child population of 160,000.
Our Adult Services care for the needs of adults across the county, through teams based in three localities. Suffolk Community Healthcare also operates community hospitals with in-patient beds and teams of nurses and therapists working in clinics and going out into people’s homes. We also offer Specialist Services and support to adults with a wide range of healthcare needs.
