Situated at the heart of Europe, with campuses in Canterbury, Medway, and Brussels, the University of Kent not only offers the chance to study in a great location, it also offers first class teaching, access to excellent facilities and excellent employment prospects. Kent was voted the number one university in London and the South East in the 2007 National Student Survey.
With over 17,000 students, Kent is rapidly becoming one of the most exciting universities in the country. The main 300-acre campus, founded in 1965, lies just over a mile from Canterbury city centre. It is a vibrant and friendly campus with an excellent social life and superb facilities. In 2000 the University established a new shared campus in Medway. Located near the redeveloped dockside, this great location has amazing buildings, cafes, its own pub, an ever expanding social life and a great sense of community.
Kent is among the top thirty universities in the UK according to The Guardian's 2008 Higher Education League Tables. The tables, published in May 2008 put Kent in 28th place - out of 117 listed higher education institutions. This is a rise of 18 places since last year.
The University of Kent is committed to the creation and support of a balanced inclusive and diverse community which is open and accessible to all students, staff, visitors and members of the public.
We are pleased to be working with DisabledGo, to help the University provide information about the accessibility of our facilities.
