The University of Aberdeen welcomes disabled staff, students and visitors. We are committed to continually improving access to education, employment, facilities, buildings and social life.
In recent years, this has included systematically reviewing the accessibility of our courses through the Teachability project, running a pilot guaranteed interview scheme for disabled job applicants, publishing our Disability Equality Scheme and working to ensure that disabled people have an active voice at the University.
Working with DisabledGo, our aim is to ensure that all visitors, members and potential members of the University community have clear information regarding the accessibility of our physical estate. This will be updated as further improvements are made. By advertising our job vacancies on this site, we also aim to attract more disabled applicants for posts at all levels of the University.
