Sheffield City College is a leading regional vocational centre of excellence. We prepare people for work, update them in work and help those returning to work. There is a major emphasis on enterprise skills and innovation, helping people to set up their own businesses. Staff and students regularly win awards.
We offer a wide range of practical and employer related courses including apprenticeships, National Vocational Qualifications to various levels, Access courses that are the equivalent of A Levels and general education options.
Learners have the opportunity to set up their own businesses whilst at college, and develop their confidence and employment opportunities.
The new site has many environmentally friendly features, reflecting a broader commitment from the college to reduce its carbon footprint.
