Sussex Coast College Hastings has the largest 6th Form and Adult Education on offer in the Hastings and Rother area, with 2,500 full-time students and over 5,000 people studying part-time. The college is located across two main campuses, Station Plaza in Hastings town centre and Ore Valley which is under a mile away. The college’s academic and vocational courses attract 16-18 year olds from Hastings, Bexhill, Rother and beyond.
The college works closely with local employers and builds its employer engagement programme around the needs of these partnerships. It has successfully delivered Train to Gain qualifications since their inception in 2006/7 and has recently increased its number of Apprenticeships frameworks to 15. The college is one of only four FE colleges in the country accredited by the National Enterprise Academy and has been awarded Investors in People status.
Sussex Coast College Hastings respects diversity within the college and in the wider community. We value the enrichment that the differences in disability, gender, sexuality, race, faith, culture, age and socio-economic groups bring to our lives and work. We are committed to ensuring equality of opportunity for all who learn and work at the college. We strive to produce a working and learning environment that is safe and free from discrimination.
