Suffolk County Council is fully committed to providing high quality education opportunities for all young people in the county. By working with DisabledGo we can provide pupils, parents, staff and other members of the community with detailed information about schools in their area.
There are 334 mainstream schools in the county (256 primary, 40 middle, 38 upper/high) which all offer a range of educational opportunities for young people including those with additional needs. In addition there are nine special schools and 13 PRUs in the county which provide education opportunities for young people with more specific needs. There are also more than 40 children’s centres located across the county which provide young people and their families with a wide range of services.
Suffolk schools offer a high quality education provision for young people with additional needs. We want to continually improve the opportunities and facilities we offer young people, their families and communities in Suffolk and this website will provide valuable information to assist schools.
