Welcome

Suffolk Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust provides mental health, substance misuse and learning disability services to most of Suffolk. We also provide some services in Thetford. Our mission is to ‘help people make the most of their lives’. We’re here to help people achieve their potential, and that includes all of the communities that we serve, and our own staff.

We also work to tackle stigma and improve public understanding. You can find out more about our campaigns at www.ifyouknew.co.uk.

From 2009 to 2011 we’re carrying out a major £25m capital programme to modernise our buildings. At present, many of them are in poor condition and disabled access falls a long way short of what we need. However, by the end of the building scheme we will have some of the best inpatient wards in the country and we will also have improved many of our community buildings.

If you care about mental well-being in Suffolk, why not join us as a member? It’s free and you can help shape our future. Find out more at www.newmember.info.

We welcome your feedback. You can contact our PALS service [freephone] 0800 58 55 44 or email pals@smhp.nhs.uk.
