Peterborough Regional College is a large college, with a range of excellent, vocational courses for school-leavers and adults, including a wide range of Apprenticeships and over 30 degree courses delivered through University Centre Peterborough. The main campus at Park Crescent is about half-a-mile from Peterborough city centre.
The college is dedicated to working with all learners to establish any needs and goals and to offer support to help achieve them. The type of support available includes:
•Specialist assessments and advice (&training where appropriate)
•Exam concessions/adjustments
•Adjustment of learning materials (larger print, Braille, specialist software/equipment)
•Note takers, readers, communicators, hearing systems, personal care
•Access to assistive technology with training (loan scheme available if required)
•1.1, small group or in-class support with a specialist, depending upon need
•Adapting of teaching resources/strategies by tutor (coloured paper, pace, questioning technique, assessment deadlines).
