Northampton College

Welcome

Northampton College welcomes over 13,000 learners from a wide range of backgrounds, ethnicities and age groups.

Our students are supported by around 1,000 full and part time members of staff.

The College is undergoing a transformation at its main site at Booth Lane in Northampton via an extensive capital re-building programme. The transformation now provides a modern, fit for purpose learning environment.

At Booth Lane, work is well underway to replace all existing buildings with a single new building providing a high quality, modern facility. The College moved into Phase 1 of this development in 2011 and completion of Phase 2 is expected by August 2012.

The College’s other site in Northampton is located at Lower Mounts in the town centre. This has recently benefited from a new extension to its current resource that was officially opened in September 2010.

The new building houses the Hairdressing & Beauty Therapy provision as well as a fine-dining restaurant, open to the public, called The Albero.
In addition, the College has a substantial site in Daventry where it offers a range of vocational programmes.
The College has been re-affirmed as meeting Investors in People standards four times since 1995 and has also achieved the Recruitment and Selection IiP award.

It is pleased to carry the endorsement of the 'Positive about Disabled' symbol and is committed to achieving accreditation by Investors in Diversity.
