Liverpool Community College is one of the largest further education colleges in England and the only FE college in Liverpool. Rated outstanding in its last two Ofsted inspections, it was awarded Beacon College Status in recognition of its exemplary performance. This places Liverpool Community College amongst the best general and further education colleges in the country.
Courses at the college range from absolute beginner to higher education degrees, with excellent provision for students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities and for those with English as their second language. With a population of more than 17,000 students, the college has a national reputation for Skills for Life provision.
With a modern city centre campus including the college’s latest flagship building, the Learning Exchange on Roscoe Street, Liverpool Community College is easy to travel to by bus, train or car.
The college has also developed a range of specialist centres of learning called National Skills Academies which are backed by government and led by employers. The college works closely with these industry specialists to make sure we produce work ready candidates with current sector specific skills needed by employers. The college has national skills academies in media, environmental technologies, financial services, food and drink manufacturing and creative and cultural skills.
