Glyndwr University is based in Wrexham and offers an extensive choice of full and part-time courses leading to University of Wales honours degrees, foundation degrees and postgraduate and professional qualifications in a wide range of subjects. It is a student-centred organisation providing high quality teaching and is very proud of its strong links with the local communities.
Glyndwr University has all the facilities expected of any university: a sports centre with an all-weather floodlit playing field, an extensive library and learning resource centre, modern on-campus student accommodation, the latest computer facilities, a Students’ Guild, an art gallery, radio and recording studios, state-of-the-art engineering laboratories and well-equipped art and design studios and workshops.
Glyndwr University embraces a culture of research and scholarship across all its subjects to enhance the quality of the curriculum in both its design and implementation. The University gains considerable benefits from its applied research and advanced scholarship by having a curriculum which acknowledges recent and current developments in industry.
