Burton upon Trent

Towns and Villages in East Staffordshire

About East Staffordshire Borough Council

Located in the Heart of England, East Staffordshire is proud of its position as capital of the National Forest. The area has a rich history with links to Mary Queen of Scots, Robert Peel and Henry Ferrers the Norman landowner and founder of a Priory at Tutbury Castle. Burton upon Trent is probably best known as the home of the great brewing companies such as Bass and Marston's and the much loved (by some) product made from brewer's yeast, Marmite. Popular family attraction The National Forest Adventure Farm offers exciting indoor fun, outdoor adventure and farm animals. The farm hosts many events throughout the year including Easter Activities, huge summer Maize Maze, spooky Halloween daytime fun, scary night time Halloween Screamfest and Christmas celebrations.
