Anglia Ruskin University is delighted to be working with DisabledGo.
In recent years we have invested over £85 million developing and improving
our campuses in Essex and Cambridge. Our Chelmsford Rivermead campus is one
of the most striking and modern in the UK, a new University Centre in
Peterborough opened in September 2009, and further developments are underway
on our Cambridge campus.
We are also home to the Anglia Assessment Centre (AAC), which carries out Disabled Student’s Allowance Assessments in Cambridge, Chelmsford, Norwich, and in our partner institutions across East Anglia.
However, it’s not just about physical access. We have been Positive about Disabled People “double-tick” symbol users since 2001, and our on-going Equality-Proofing the Curriculum project is helping to ensure that the education we provide is as accessible as possible. In fact, we are one of the most socially inclusive universities in the UK. Our Vision and Values are explicit about this: “We are friendly and inclusive, and celebrate individuality and diversity. We support and encourage everyone, and strive hard to anticipate and meet needs and aspirations”.
We look forward to seeing you!
