Disabled Access Guide for The Sir Michael Cobham Library

In addition to Library and Learning Support staff, the following staff groups are based in the Library: Student and Academic Services Executive; Educational Development and Quality; Academic Partnerships; Organisational and Staff Development; Additional Learning Support.

Facilities within the building include group study areas, silent study floors , bookable PCs and Technobooths and the Language Centre. There is also a staff zone and the Octagon which is used for staff development events.

The venue is situated outside the centre of the campus.

This venue is situated in the Talbot Campus.

The venue is not on a road with a steep gradient.

The rest of the axiliary aids are located in the Assistive Technology Room, located on the ground floor, which include JAWS, Text-Help and Inspiration software, and CCTV.

The document magnifier, shown in photograph 1, is located on the 3rd floor in a group study room.
