Visitors with visual impairments are also permitted to touch the exhibits in the Large Exhibits Gallery on the ground floor and 1st floor balcony.

Magnifying sheets are available to aid reading captions or documents in the museum. Some special exhibitions have large print captions produced for exhibits.

Video clips played in special exhibitions, such as The Holocaust Exhibition, are often subtitled.
