TUI is the UK’s leading travel brand, taking over six million holidaymakers away each year. We want to make travel easy and enjoyable for all our customers, but we know when it comes to planning, it can be a stressful experience.
This can be especially true for those with access needs, who rely on the hotel’s accessibility details being available before booking. So, we’ve partnered with AccessAble and tasked them with the job of running accessibility audits at some of our most popular hotels.
This ground-breaking partnership is the first of its kind for overseas hotels and we’ll be using the info collected to create detailed access guides. That way, customers with access needs have everything they need before they book, and can feel confident when choosing their holiday.
We recently won a Disability Smart Award 2024 for our work to improve the lives of disabled people. The Disability Smart Inclusive Customer Experience Award recognises organisations that have gone the extra mile to break down barriers experienced by disabled people through truly inclusive customer service. The judging panel chose TUI for our partnership with AccessAble, our hotel Detailed Access Guides, and our dedicated, specialist Assisted Travel Team, who enable our disabled customers to find and tailor their holidays.
